Following graduation, worked as a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant at the Banner University Medical Center in Tucson until 2018. 

As a Cardiothoracic Surgery PA, she was responsible for care of patients across the entire spectrum of medical care- from initial consults requested at the emergency department, inpatient or outpatient settings, pre-operative assessment, first assist in operating room, and transfer of care from ICU, telemetry ward, then discharge for outpatient follow-up.  She later became the Artificial Heart Program Coordinator, which is a subspecialty within the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department.  This required care coordination with a large multidisciplinary team for patients with end-stage heart failure requiring mechanical circulatory support.

Currently lives with her husband, 10 year-old son, and 3 dogs.  Family relocated from Arizona since her husband's appointment in 2019 at the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Wyoming.  Videos of his courses and field work are available here.

Since moving, she has been practicing outpatient Internal Medicine.  Volunteers as a provider at the Downtown Clinic in Laramie, which provides free medical care to low-income, uninsured residents.
